Ausra Cizauskaite

I am a social policy researcher (she/her) specialising in family policy and gender equality. My areas of expertise include family-work reconciliation, gender policy, early childhood education and inequality. I base my work on quantitative social research methods and my professional expertise working with international organisations and public institutions.

I have completed my BA and MA degrees in Social Policy at Vilnius University. During my master's, I deepened my knowledge at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. In 2024, I defended my PhD in Social Policy at University College Dublin, Ireland. Currently I conduct research at the Department of Social Policy, Social Justice and Social Work at University College Dublin, and at the Vytautas Magnus University Vytautas Kavolis Transdisciplinary Research Institute.
